Japanese dvd sets are no joke. If someone can explain why they are so expensive I'd be happy. Maybe the dvd's are covered in 24k gold or have diamond decor on the box's. lol

I dun think it's the royalties that they need to pay because this drama is so old that its practically cashing in 0 money from broadcasters. i think the thing lies with the fact that most old old korean dramas only have subtitles in japanese except for KBS dramas who try to distribute english subbed via kbsworldi .. by the way, do you speak korean? i assumed so since you have watched all these olden show without subtitles? cause i think its possible to get the raw videos, just need to sub it
